Keeper of the Flame

She— keeper of the flame, torch bearer, love receiver. She— holds the light, tender. A gift given freely, with love. Shadows fall, night comes again. Still, an ember glows. She is tasked to share the light abundantly. Often, she is a mirror, reflecting what she receives. The flame doesn’t scold her, simply keeps gleaming, a constant.
